What a perfect picnic setting - gorgeous weather, lovely music, and the gathering of friends at Belmont Country Club enjoying the Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary’s annual “picnic”. The balcony was full as guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, perused the wonderful assortment of Silent Auction items, and enjoyed the music provided by Kevin Korecki at the keyboard.

TOLEDO ANIMAL SHELTER AUXILIARY KICKS OFF THE SEASON WITH ANNUAL BRUNCH AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS AT TOLEDO COUNTRY CLUB - MAY 14, 2008

President, Nancy Ligibel welcomed the many guests gathered in the Fireside Room at The Toledo Country Club. Jean Smith and Bonnie Milano greeted while Jackie Rousseau-Werner displayed the Auxiliary’s charming sale items. A lovely brunch was served.

The purpose of this organization is to promote community awareness, education, and financial support for the Toledo Animal Shelter Association.

The Auxiliary was founded in 1948, reorganized in 1963 and continues today as the fundraising arm of the Shelter. We take our mission statement seriously and work always to inform, encourage and raise funds to aid in the work of the Shelter to find loving homes for the animals that come to us.
