The “Come Play All Day at Put-In-Bay” fundraiser put on by the Toledo Animal Shelter and The Jet Express on Sunday, August 24th was a first time venture for the animal shelter, but as it turns out, was so successful that many people indicated they would like to do it again next year.

What a perfect picnic setting - gorgeous weather, lovely music, and the gathering of friends at Belmont Country Club enjoying the Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary’s annual “picnic”. The balcony was full as guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, perused the wonderful assortment of Silent Auction items, and enjoyed the music provided by Kevin Korecki at the keyboard.

In order to help local pets and pet owners, The Toledo Animal Shelter recently launched our new Lost and Found pages on our web site. This is the only service of its kind in Northwest Ohio and is a free service to the public. See the 13 ABC coverage of this story.
